Overview of Events

KIDS TRIATHLON

This Canada Day Weekend will kick off on Saturday June 29, 2024, with pure inspiration when up to 100 kids will participate in the North Bay Kids Triathlon, a non-competitive event run through the Birchhaven neighborhood.

ADULT TRIATHLON

Sunday, June 30, 2024,

This year's Triathlon will be set at "Sprint Distance" distances as sanctioned by Triathlon Ontario.

Adult Sprint Distance Triathlon which is an individual and a relay team event, begins with a 750 m swim in the beautiful Trout Lake, followed by a 20 km bike ride to the end of Peninsula Road and wrapping up with a 5 km run along Anita Avenue.

For the Relay Triathlon each Team member completes one leg and then passes the tracking band to the next Team member.

ADULT DUATHLON

Returning in 2024!

The Adult Duathlon will run for the second year on Sunday June 30. It will begin with a 4 km run through the Birchhaven neighbourhood, then join up with the other athletes for the 20 km bike to the end of Peninsula Road and a 5 km run along Anita Avenue.

TRY-A-TRI

Sunday, June 30, 2024 the North Bay Try-a-Tri, a timed event which is intended for those who are less experienced triathletes and want to “Try a Triathlon". a 300 m swim in the beautiful Trout Lake, a 10 km bike ride along Anita Avenue and wrapping up with a 2km run though the Birchhaven neighbourhood.
